I’m Scouring the Planet for Opportunity This Week

by | published February 24th, 2020

This week, I’m looking at interesting energy developments in virtually every corner of the globe – Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia…

1. Examining the potential of a microgrid solar project in Northwestern Australia that may meet local/regional power needs while at the same time providing an interesting connection to lowering LNG production costs.

2. Looking into the impact on Persian Gulf cross-border affairs from the huge, newly discovered Jebel Ali natural gas field off the United Arab Emirates.

3. Analyzing the ongoing genuine impact of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) on Chinese energy demand.

And, finally…

4. Preparing for discussions with European colleagues about energy market delays in the post Brexit negotiations between the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Sincerely,

Kent
